Concrete Form Setter & Finisher

Location: Grand Junction, CO
Job Type: Full-Time
Schedule: Monday – Friday (Overtime)
Pay: $20-$25 per hour (Dependent on Experience).
Job Duties:
• Set forms; pour, smooth and finish concrete sidewalks, roads, curbs, etc. using hand/powered floats, hand/powered trowels, and other equipment.
• Bolt, nail, align and block under forms.
• Level earth to fine grade specifications using pic and shovel.
• Work harmoniously and cooperatively with others at all times.
• Follow directions and instructions from supervisors.
• Perform a variety of tasks and duties that may change often as the work conditions require.
• Work within defined standards of accuracy.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.
• Experience with Nudura insulated concrete forms is a definite plus.
Basic Requirements & Qualifications:
• 1+ years experience of Concrete Form Setting
• 3+ years experience of Concrete Finishing
• Background check
• Valid driver’s license
• Reliable transportation to and from work
• Steel-toe boots
• Previous experience as a form setter & finisher
• Required knowledge, skills, and abilities:
• Ability to use arms and hands to reach for, handle and manipulate objects.
• Ability to do physical labor and other strenuous physical tasks.
• Good communication skills to work effectively and safely.
• Ability to work overtime, as required.
